Statement of Significance:

The machines are an integral part of the WM Olds Engineering workshop. Used almost every day, at times they are specifically used to engineer parts to repair other heritage machinery. The company has provided engineering services since 1918 and has played an important role in the engineering history of Maryborough

Degree of Risk:           At Risk – no solution agreed

Threats/Risks:             Devaluation

Fate/outcome:             Stable

The need to meet the requirements of Workplace Health and Safety Regulations has led to uncertainty about the continued operation of some machines.

Desired Outcome / Vision

A solution should be found which would allow the continued operation of this equipment
