Selection Process
The National Trust in Victoria worked with the community, committees and key heritage stakeholders to review heritage places previously identified as being at risk. This ensured a comprehensive State-wide overview and form the basis of the OUR HERITAGE AT RISK - VICTORIA - 2008 list for Victoria.
Community groups and individuals also submitted nominations direct to the National Trust where they felt that a threat to a heritage site might not be well known or documented.
National Trust staff member Kerry Jordan was available on 03 9656 9839 (Mon - Thurs) as a point of contact to discuss any issues of sites at risk.
Nominations closed on 18 April and the Victoria Top 10 List for 2008 was announced on 1 July.
