Examples of types of threats
Demolition
§ Development pressure
§ Government policy change/strategy/ legislation
§ Inappropriate development (loss of curtilage, out of scale adjacent development, non-sympathetic re-development)
§ Neglect (if severe leading to total loss of fabric/heritage, placed under destruction or fitting into lower level category)
§ Redundancy (if a major cause of potential loss of entire heritage value, can be classified as threat of destruction otherwise lower category)
§ Loss of habitat
§ Disposal
§ Damage & degradation (if severe, could fit into destruction, otherwise, damage)
Each of these threats depending on severity could fit into any of the above categories, with the exception of demolition which would immediately be placed under Destruction.
