OUR HERITAGE AT RISK
NATIONAL TRUST
Making a difference - What happened to placed nominated in 2007?
As part of the Our Heritage At Risk program, the National Trusts have developed a Fate Scale to track what has happened to places nominated as being "at risk".
Heritage@Risk Fate scale
0 Heritage values completely & permanently lost – place destroyed
1 Heritage values mostly/partially lost – place or part of place retained
2 Heritage values still at a high risk of loss or compromise - no clear intent to improve or reduce the risk
3 Heritage values at risk – intent to improve but no action yet taken
4 Heritage values likely to be retained – action taken
5 Heritage values retained – place saved/appropriate conservation work completed
