The special place of cemeteries as part of community values and identity transcends religion or ethnicity.

Headstones and graves are suffering through vandalism, vegetation overgrowth and lack of maintenance. A more
mobile population and breakdown of community connections with cemeteries mean fewer or no family members caring for individual
allotments.
Desired Outcome / Vision:
A process needs to be established which would provide clear guidelines for all parties involved in cemetery
preservation.
