
Nomination and Selection Process 2008
In the ACT, nominations were selected by the Council with advice from the National Trust’s Heritage Committee. Heritage places and precincts on our Classification List were also reviewed for their current condition and threat status under the Our Heritage At Risk criteria.
Urban and suburban areas proposed for future development and currently under development were also be considered.
Liaison occurred with other non-government heritage partner groups such as Engineers Australia, Royal Australian Institute of Architects.
Nominations were considered from our membership.
Nominations closed on 18 April and the ACT Top 10 List for 2008 was announced on 1 July.
