Nomination and Selection Process 2009

In the ACT, nominations were selected by the Council with advice from the National Trust’s Heritage Committee.  Heritage places and precincts on our Classification List were also reviewed for their current condition and threat status under the Our Heritage At Risk criteria. 

Urban and suburban areas proposed for future development and currently under development were also be considered. 

An integral part of the program will be liaison with other non-government heritage partner groups such as Engineers Australia, Royal Australian Institute of Architects. 

Nominations were  also considered from National Trust members and the general public.
